"Network is just a computer" - this is how it started
(1999)

We design and develop web applications, corporate and company portals, product services, e-commerce, configurators, e-learning systems, monitoring solutions, and visualization of business and technological processes. We create projects that streamline and change the way digital services are used, also in urban space (Smart City solutions).

VISUAL is an interactive agency and software house under one roof. For over two decades, we have been successfully combining technology with design. Our portfolio includes services and technological products from categories such as content management systems (CMS), online stores, monitoring and visualization applications for business processes, and LMS (Learning Management System) solutions.

We discover ideas and transform them into effective services and products. We combine the most effective methods, such as Design Thinking, User-Centered Design, Service Design, as well as traditional business analysis (Business Analysis).

In the production process, we most often use agile methodologies (Agile) such as Scrum and PRINCE 2. We measure the effectiveness of projects through tests and usability studies involving users.

The "SIP" application project (Passenger Information System; Smart City) commissioned by AMS S.A. (Agora S.A. Group) was recognized by the jurors in the INNOVATION 2020 competition and awarded the Dobry Wzór award (finalist in the service category).

Our history

1999 - 2000

In 1999, Visual Media was founded. In that year, we started our first projects for Sun Microsystems Poland Sp. z o.o. We worked on, among other things, a server configuration program. We collaborated with Sun until the company was acquired by one of the largest software companies - Oracle. Initially, we occupied two small rooms on the ground floor of a house, and later we moved to a stylish tenement house in the center of Bydgoszcz (Gdańska 27). We would ride an 19th-century elevator with beautiful stained-glass windows to the 4th floor, which unfortunately didn't always take us to our destination :) It was here that our first projects were created (animations, multimedia presentations) for brands such as Ford, Raben, Fiat, as well as for local clients.

We are releasing a multimedia guide titled "Transport, Forwarding, Logistics," which is our business venture. We are including the CD with the guide in the Businessman Magazine, with a circulation of 40,000 copies.

We are entering into a series of contracts to create multimedia presentations and films for companies in the TSL industry, including Stolica SA, Schenker Sp. z o.o., Raben Sp. z o.o., Pekaes SA, Euroad SA, and the International Road Carriers Association in Poland. We are also creating a website for a window manufacturer that, as the first in Poland, allows for a cost estimate regarding joinery.

2002-2003

Polish Airlines LOT, Lot Charters, and LOT Cargo have commissioned Visual Media to create multimedia projects and applications for calculating aircraft loading. We are starting a collaboration with Oracle Sp. z o.o. and creating numerous projects for the Military Property Agency.

We are launching an independent brand called Visual Media Records, which specializes in producing optical discs (CDs, DVDs, and later on DVDs). We have been commissioned by Sun Microsystems to provide comprehensive advertising services for the StarOffice office suite

2004-2006

We are adding Sobiesław Zasada Logistyka Sp. z o.o. and the Polish Brand Institute - National Chamber of Commerce to our list of clients. We are beginning a long-term collaboration with INFOR SA Publishing Group and Dr Irena Eris SPA Hotels. Visual Media is also signing contracts with new clients, including Danfoss Sp. z o.o., Gymnasion SA Fitness Club Network, and Globe Trade Centre S.A.

As a result of our collaboration with music publishers and press in Germany, Visual Media Records (CD and DVD production) is rapidly expanding.

2007 -2009

We have won the competition to provide creative and technological support for Deutsche Bank and its brand, DB Kredyt. For almost two years, we have worked on various projects, including designs, applications, and websites. During this period, we also carry out projects commissioned by INFOR publishing house.

We are starting a collaboration with Makro Cash and Carry Polska Sp. z o.o., Comarch SA, ING Securities SA, and MPWiK Warszawa. We are also producing films and websites for new real estate investments in Warsaw.

We are implementing a new website and affiliate application for Gymnasion Fitness Club Network. We have also published websites, e-commerce, and other systems for the Polish National Committee for UNICEF.

Recruitment for our new office in Warsaw is starting.

2010 - 2012

We establish cooperation with APATOR SA, the Ronald McDonald Foundation, the Arbitration Court in Warsaw, and the PBG SA development company.

In December 2011, during the 7th edition of the Webstarfestival competition, we won two main awards in the category of Social Website of the Year 2011. We received two statuettes - the Webstar Internauts and the Webstar Academy of the Internet. The awards were granted for the creation of the unicef.pl website.

The cooperation with Makro Cash and Carry has gained significant momentum. We are carrying out a number of creative and technological projects. We also provide services for the Odido grocery store chain and the ARO brand.

The cooperation with the logistics operator PEKAES SA resulted in the implementation of a new corporate website, whose visual layer promotes new standards of communicating the PEKAES brand.

On behalf of Makro Cash and Carry Poland, we are implementing a portal called EatClub.pl, for which we receive the Webstar Internauts award.

2013 - 2015

Our experience is appreciated by an energy industry company. We win a tender for online servicing of one of the PGNiG companies - the Storage System Operator. We conclude a 4-year contract.

In December 2014, we receive the Webstar of Internauts award for the profim.pl website. We acquire new customers, including Gaz-System SA and PKP Energetyka SA.

We create the Flashstore brand, which specializes in the production and distribution of USB memory on several EU markets.

In the summer of 2015, we move to a new headquarters. Our new address in Bydgoszcz is Fordońska 40. It is spacious and comfortable. New things are coming...

2016 - 2017

We publish a new corporate portal for the Military Property Agency and companies from the TSL industry: LINK, Euro-Trans, and Maszonski Logistic.

During this time, further mature projects saw the light of day, including the corporate portal for the publicly-traded company Radpol SA and the Ronald McDonald Foundation.

Our team is growing, we are hiring new specialists and creating a network of cooperation that is supposed to ensure the implementation of projects on a larger scale than before.

BeVISUAL! - after several years, we are changing our logo and brand communication.

In 2017, we win tenders for the service of new brands. We establish cooperation with Paged SA Group, Paged Meble SA, and Lewiatan Holding SA. In November 2017, we win contests for new projects for Makro and Odido.

2018 - 2019

We have published our new service using PWA (Progressive Web Application) technology, thus presenting the changed offer and direction of VISUAL's development.

In February 2018, we published a website for the furniture brand Paged (www.pagedmeble.pl), and two months later for Lewiatan Holding SA (lewiatan.pl).

Our clients receive even greater support, as a Software House has been separated within the company structure to carry out technological projects for clients from Poland and abroad.

This year, Newag, Tchibo, Warsaw University of Technology, and Polska Grupa Transportowa joined our group of clients, for which we are implementing a PWA portal.

We are also implementing a new project on behalf of Makro Cash and Carry Polska - an advanced trading platform aimed at Makro and Odido customers.
